Lincoln Scott was born and raised in Rock Island, Illinois and graduated from Rock Island High School in 1993. He attended Illinois Wesleyan University where he graduated with a B.A. in Accounting in 1997. He received his J.D. from Drake University - School of Law in 2000.
After graduating from law school, Lincoln married his wife Sophia Yi Scott and moved to Lombard, Illinois. He joined Lawrence Friedman, P.C., which later became Friedman & Wexler, LLC, where he practiced as a collections attorney in Chicago, Illinois until 2005. In 2005, he returned to the Quad Cities, to join his Grandfather, Robert G. Scott, and Kenneth M. Collinson in Milan, Illinois to form Collinson & Scott, P.C. where he practiced until 2013. In 2013, Lincoln Scott moved his practice to Moline, Illinois, and joined R. Nick Mason to form Mason and Scott, P.C.
Lincoln Scott was admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois in 2000. He was also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois in 2000 and the U.S. District Court, Central District of Illinois in 2005.
R. Nick Mason was born and raised in Orion, Illinois and graduated from Orion High School in 1995. He attended Augustana College where he graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in English/Speech Communication in 1999. He received his J.D. from the University of Iowa - College of Law in 2003.
Nick married his wife, Jennifer Mason in 2008.
