Lincoln was born and raised in Rock Island, Illinois and graduated from Rock Island High School in 1993. He earned his B.A. in Accounting from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1997 before receiving his J.D. from Drake University School of Law in 2000. After law school, he began his practice working as a collections attorney in Chicago with Lawrence Friedman, P.C. (later Friedman & Wexler, LLC). In 2005, Lincoln returned to the Quad Cities to join his grandfather’s practice and, in 2013, co‑founded Mason & Scott, P.C. with R. Nick Mason. He was admitted to practice in the State of Illinois in 2000 and in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois.
With decades of legal experience, Lincoln Scott has built a strong command of real estate law, estate planning, and criminal defense throughout Illinois.
